Bitcoin Price How Much 2020?
Bitcoin was founded in early 2009. Since then, we have seen a price increase from Bitcoin to March percent (around March 2010), up to $ 19,000 + per Bitcoin. One of the best stories to show this growth is two pizzas purchased by a Florida developer, Laszlo Hanyecz, for 10,000 Bitcoins on May 22, 2010. This 10,000 Bitcoin ($ 4,000 per bitcoin) would have valued over $ 40 million today and would pit up to $ 40.
Is there a limit to this growth, if so where? No one knows for sure, but there are plenty of Bitcoiners and lots of Bitcoiners or Bitcoin evangelists who see the market as a bubble, ready to explode and turn Bitcoin's price back to just cents. Bitcoin is growing up to 200 times its current price. Here is what these evangelists think Bitcoin is worth.
Permanent Bitcoin Price Predictions
There are a handful of Bitcoin price forecasts made in the medium and long term or with no time scale, still standing today. Here are some of the most exciting predictions from Bitcoin's most legendary evangelists.
Chamath Palihapitiya - $ 1,000,000 (up to 2037)
Chamath Palihapitiya, Founder of Social Capital and Co-Owner of the Golden State Warriors. The Bitcoin journey started with an investment in 2012 and until 2013 included Bitcoin in its hedge fund, general fund, private account. At one point it had 5% of all Bitcoin in circulation.
Palihapitiya predicted that the price of Bitcoin would reach $ 100,000 in the next 3-4 years and reach $ 1 million by 2037. “This thing has the potential to be compared to the value of gold… a fantastic store of protection and value against autocratic regimes and banking infrastructure that we know are corrosive for the smooth operation of the world”
Wences Casares - $ 1,000,000 (up to 2027)
Wences Casares is the Founder and CEO of Xapo, a Bitcoin wallet company, among other roles. Casares was first interested in Bitcoin due to the high financial volatility in his native country's local currency Peso. The technology giant bought its first Bitcoins in 2011.
Casares believes that Bitcoin will hit $ 1 million some time before 2027, he said at the Consensus 2017 conference in New York. Better still, he believes that Bitcoin can hit one million dollars in 5 years, saying that the milestone will be reached in “5-10 years” on May 23, 2017.
